Sanitary Engineer’s Day, A tribute for PSU-CW cleaning staff

As we all know the important role of PSU-CW cleaning staff in creating a healthy and clean environment for students, faculty members and administration staff; it was only fair to celebrate their day after day efforts.  Around 30 students leaded by:   Sarah Bedair, Madawi AlFawzan, Shaden AlMenajem and Lamya AlKherayef have cooperated with Student Affairs Office to organize for “Sanitary Engineer’s Day”, a casual appreciation ceremony for PSU-CW cleaning staff, as an acknowledgment of student’s support and thankfulness. It was a an outdoor event on the 13^th of December 2010; where every member of the cleaning staff was called out by name to receive a small gift with a loud applause from students, faculty members and administrative staff who have attended the heartwarming event. Along with appreciation, was the beginning of a campaign called:”leave it better than it was” to spread the awareness of individual’s role in creating a tidy and sanitary environment.
